Five patients with their consent were given the intramuscular injection of 10 mg estradiol dipropionate (Ed) 5 days before hysterectomy in the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle in order to observe the effect of estradiol on the levels of E-cadherin and ·- and ß-catenin mRNA expression.
