In this chapter we have looked at how the "typical" pastor sets limits to sexual contact with parishioners. Most pastors experience sexual attraction to at least some parishioners during their time in ministry. Pastors who are attracted to parishioners but do not wish to act on that attraction use a range of resources to help them avoid contact when they deem it inappropriate. While some suggest that they are not sure they have handled attraction well in the past or that they may not always handle it well in the future, most pastors seem to feel that they have this issue well controlled.
